Mariane built her legal career from the ground up. Before becoming an attorney, she spent years working inside law firms and in-house legal departments, managing complex matters as a paralegal and learning the realities of how business clients make decisions. That foundation gives her a rare sense of both sides of the practice, combining the strategic view that drives transactions and the disciplined execution required to bring them to a close.
Her practice spans corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, franchising, and a broad range of commercial counseling for clients operating in multiple states. She guides business owners, investors, and franchisors through structuring and negotiation, drafting agreements and policies that support growth and day-to-day operations. She routinely reviews and negotiates the commercial agreements that keep businesses running, not only protecting clients but helping them create value in every deal.
Mariane is the person who can untangle a complicated deal without slowing its pace. She listens closely, asks the right questions, and finds practical ways to keep everyone moving in the same direction. Her work balances efficiency with understanding, by seeing the legal issues, the business need, and the people behind both, allowing her to stay focused on solutions rather than roadblocks.
Mariane advises franchisors nationwide on every stage of development and expansion, from drafting and updating franchise disclosure documents to negotiating multi-unit agreements and transfers. She works on system structuring, renewals, and related corporate transactions, ensuring that each agreement supports both compliance and growth.
Both inside and outside the office, Mariane is the person who raises her hand. She serves on the board of the Rutgers–Camden Alumni Association, chairs the Burlington County Bar Association’s Mock Trial Committee, and contributes to initiatives through the New Jersey and Pennsylvania Bar Associations. She also teaches at the Coptic Orthodox Church, volunteers for the PTA, and supports the Ronald McDonald House of Southern New Jersey. Each of Mariane’s roles reflect the same instinct she brings to client work: step up, take ownership, and follow through.
