Hyland Levin Shapiro, a multi-practice law firm based in South Jersey, seeks an associate, with one to three years of experience, to join our business and real estate groups.  Our business group covers transactional and ongoing business counseling, with a focus on companies in the food & beverage and franchise industries.  Our real estate group handles a broad variety of matters, representing developers, borrowers, investors and lenders in all types of assets classes.  We offer the opportunity to work on sophisticated “big firm” matters in a collegial and collaborative environment. The right candidate will possess strong academic and writing skills.  New Jersey and Pennsylvania bar admissions are required. Hyland Levin Shapiro is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant with at least five years’ law firm experience. Responsibilities include preparation and editing/formatting of documents; Assisting with preparation of closing binders; working with document management systems and organizing and maintaining files and contacts. The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, have a strong sense of time management, the ability to be a team player and be willing to learn new programs as needed. The candidate should be proficient in MS Office, preferably 2016, with strong Word skills. Candidate should have experience with Excel, Adobe Acrobat or PDFdocs and creating and editing org charts using PowerPoint.
