Zoning and Land Use Paralegal

Hyland Levin Shapiro is seeking an experienced, full-time paralegal to work on preparing and filing of land use and zoning applications.  The ideal candidate will have experience in handling New Jersey land use and zoning matters either with a law firm, municipal zoning office or engineering firm.  Must be well-organized and detail-oriented.  A paralegal or zoning course certification is preferred but not required.  The position requires an on-site presence at our Marlton office.  Salary is commensurate with experience.

Trust and Estates Paralegal

We are seeking a trusts and estates paralegal with at least two years of college and a certificate in  Paralegal Studies.  Minimum of three years experience as a trusts and estates paralegal (preferably in a law firm setting), is required.  Responsibilities include assisting attorneys and other firm staff members with all aspects of our estate planning and administration practice; must be familiar with probate and administration proceedings and procedures in New Jersey; have an in-depth understanding of federal estate and gift taxes and the New Jersey inheritance tax; and be proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting and tax preparation software.  Excellent organizational, analytical, research, and writing skills, as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
