Beau C. Wilson, focuses his practice on employment, commercial, business, construction, and common-interest community association matters. As a member of Hyland Levin Shapiro’s Litigation and Risk Management practice group, he represents businesses, individuals, and condominium and homeowner associations in a wide range of complex disputes. Beau provides strategic, results-oriented counsel and works closely with clients to develop practical legal solutions that align with their business objectives and long-term goals.

Beau’s practice includes employment litigation, breach of contract disputes, restrictive covenant matters, partnership and shareholder disputes, construction litigation, real estate conflicts, and association-related litigation. He regularly represents clients in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration proceedings, handling matters from early case assessment through trial and resolution. Beau is dedicated to achieving efficient, practical outcomes in high-stakes matters. His thoughtful approach, attention to detail, and commitment to client service enable him to guide clients through complex legal challenges with confidence and clarity. Whether resolving disputes through negotiation or advocating in the courtroom, he develops tailored legal strategies that advance his clients’ business objectives while protecting their interests.

Prior to joining Hyland Levin Shapiro, Beau served as a law clerk to the Honorable Jean B. McMaster, J.S.C., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Civil Division. He later served as a Deputy Attorney General for the State of New Jersey, where he represented state agencies before the Office of Administrative Law, the Superior Court of New Jersey, the Appellate Division, the New Jersey Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, and the United States Supreme Court.

Beau is committed to serving both the legal profession and his community. In 2025, he was appointed to a four-year term on the New Jersey Courts District IIIB Ethics Committee. He is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Burlington County Bar Association, and the Community Associations Institute (CAI) Keystone Chapter, where he previously served on the Regional Council. He also serves on the Board of Directors of The Bridge Academy & Community Center in Coatesville, Pennsylvania, and was recognized as Volunteer Up Legal Clinic’s Volunteer of the Month in 2024 for his commitment to pro bono service.

Beau earned his J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law, where he received the Harriet Robinson Gillock Memorial Award, was a Rubin Public Interest Law Honor Society Fellow, and was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society. He earned his B.A. from Messiah University, where he competed on the NCAA Division III cross-country and track and field teams and served as captain of the cross-country team. During his time at Messiah, Beau also volunteered with the Special Olympics of Pennsylvania and studied abroad in Uganda and Rwanda.

Outside of the office, Beau enjoyed spending time with his wife and two sons, playing tennis, hiking, and trying to convince his family that his dad jokes are actually funny.

Representative Matters

Obtained a judgment in the Law Division exceeding $26 million on behalf of a food product manufacturer. Successfully handled the subsequent appeal and oral argument before the Appellate Division, where the trial court’s decision was affirmed in full

Represented businesses in alleged employment discrimination litigation and negotiated a favorable resolution that resulted in dismissal of the claims with a de minimis settlement payment

Recovered damages for a client arising from defective construction, including the recovery of attorneys’ fees under the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act

Successfully defended an employer in federal court litigation and enforced a restrictive covenant against a former employee

Advised employers on immigration compliance, including training HR teams and on-site managers on preparedness for potential ICE workplace actions and drafting internal policies outlining response procedures
