Beau C. Wilson an associate with the firm, focuses on employment, commercial, business, and condominium and homeowner associations in a wide range of complex disputes. As a litigator, he provides strategic, results-oriented mindset to the businesses and individuals he counsels and works closely with clients to develop practical solutions aligned with their legal and business goals.
Beau’s practice involves litigating breach of contract disputes, employment-related claims, restrictive covenants, partnership and shareholder disagreements, and real estate conflicts. He regularly represents clients in state and federal courts as well as various arbitration forums and handles matters from early case assessment through resolution.
Prior to joining Hyland Levin Shapiro, Beau served as Deputy Attorney General at the Office of the Attorney General in Trenton, New Jersey, where he represented state agencies in the Office of Administrative Law, the New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division, the New Jersey Supreme Court, the New Jersey District Court, and the United States Supreme Court. Beau also counseled the Department of Community Affairs and its various subdivisions and the Department of State regarding the enforcement or defense of their statutes and regulations.
Beau was recently appointed to serve a four-year term as a committee member on the New Jersey Courts District IIIB Ethics Committee.
Beau clerked for Superior Court Judge Jean B. McMaster, J.S.C., Civil Division. He interned at the Face to Face Legal Center of Philadelphia as well as the Community Legal Services of Philadelphia, where he managed a caseload of over 60 clients and collaborated with the Philadelphia Coalition for Affordable Communities in creating a policy initiative through the Housing Trust Fund to improve homeowner options for low income families.
Beau is a member of the New Jersey State Bar and Burlington County Bar Associations. He is a graduate of Temple University’s Beasley School of Law (J.D. 2017) and Messiah College (B.A., 2011) in Pennsylvania. At Temple, he was the recipient of the Harriet Robinson Gillock Memorial Award and was a Rubin Public Interest Law Honor Society Fellow and member of the Moot Court Honor Society.
At Messiah College, he was on the NCAA DIII Cross Country Team and Track and Field Team and served as the Cross Country Team Captain. Beau also was a volunteer for the Special Olympics of Pennsylvania and studied abroad in Uganda and Rwanda.
Beau currently serves on the Board of the Bridge Academy & Community Center located in Coatesville, Pennsylvania. Beau is also a member of the Community Associations Institute Keystone Chapter. In 2023, he served on the Keystone Chapter’s Regional Council. Beau was also recognized as the Volunteer of the Month in March 2024 by Volunteer Up Legal Clinic, a New Jersey Supreme Court-certified pro bono organization that assists low-income clients facing legal barriers.
Beau resides in Haddon Township with his wife and two sons. In his free time, Beau enjoys playing tennis, going on hikes, and attempting to convince his family that his dad jokes are, in fact, funny.
