She first joined Hyland Levin Shapiro as a member of the 2024 summer associate class. Her previous experience includes serving as a certified legal intern with the Villanova Law Civil Justice Clinic, where she handled family law matters; interning with a Philadelphia law firm, where she assisted with mediations; and completing an externship with a sports consulting firm, focusing on NIL matters and contract review.

Basia earned her J.D. from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law in 2025. During law school, she served as Events Chair of the Student Bar Association and as an associate editor and staff writer for the Jeffrey S. Moorad Sports Law Journal.

She received her B.A. in Political Science, with minors in Economics and Spanish, from Stonehill College in 2023. A pioneer participant in the Stonehill–Villanova 3+3 program, Basia was also active in the Stonehill community, serving as captain of the women’s volleyball team and participating in the economics and political science clubs.

Outside of her legal work, Basia enjoys experimenting with new recipes, staying active, and attending live concerts.
