Hyland Levin Shapiro proudly co-sponsored the Rutgers-Camden Law Alumni Association’s Annual annual Community Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, March 29. The event welcomed families from across Camden County, as well as current law students and Rutgers alumni, with more than 100 children registered to attend.
The program was organized and led by associate, Mariane Gardner, a Rutgers-Camden Alumni Association board member and co-chair of the Rutgers-Camden Alumni Association Young Lawyers Division. Mariane and her co-chair, Arlette Leyba of Brown and Connery, played a central role in planning and executing the event.
Hosted at the Rutgers Campus Center, the event featured a range of family-friendly activities, including craft stations, cupcake decorating, and themed games. Alumni and law student volunteers welcomed attendees and distributed Easter baskets, refreshments, and books. The highlight of the event was an interactive magic show which engaged both children and adults. The Easter Bunny also made a special appearance, contributing to the festive atmosphere. The celebration concluded with an egg hunt featuring more than 1,000 eggs. The event received overwhelmingly positive feedback, including from families who have returned since Mariane and Arlette relaunched the event in 2025.
Through its sponsorship and active involvement, Hyland Levin Shapiro continues to demonstrate its commitment to community engagement and service. The firm is proud to support initiatives that strengthen connections between the law school, its alumni network, and the broader community.
