Patricia Wood is a senior paralegal in the Real Estate Practice Group of Hyland Levin Shapiro LLP, assisting primarily in the Land Use Section. Patty is responsible for preparing land use applications, working directly with clients, surveyors, architects and engineers to compile the information and documentation required for a complete application, preparing notices for publication and mailing, monitoring the municipal, county and other governmental agencies’ responses, and preparing easements and restrictions required for compliance with approval conditions. She also assists with real estate transactions, including review of title, survey and other due diligence documentation, preparing transactional documents, and assisting with closings. Patty also works with the Succession Planning, Trust & Estates attorneys, preparing and recording deeds, as well as acting as the administrator of an estate trust benefiting local charities.
Patty’s prior law firm experience includes corporate, medical malpractice defense, insurance defense, environmental defense and other areas. Prior to becoming a paralegal, Patty worked in the computer industry in customer training, marketing and communications.
Patty lives in Mount Laurel with her husband, Mark, and enjoys spending time with her family, friends, volunteering at her church, and traveling.
