Robert S. Baranowski, Jr., of counsel, concentrates his practice on environmental and land use matters. He counsels clients in connection with development applications, litigation, appellate matters, redevelopment, eminent domain and inverse condemnation actions, real property tax appeals and administrative proceedings. Bob is also experienced in handling title insurance claims, real property disputes and general commercial litigation.
Before entering private practice, Bob served as Deputy Attorney General with the State of New Jersey in the Division of Law, where he represented the Department of Environmental Protection.
Bob currently serves as secretary of the New Jersey State Bar Association Land Use Section Board of Directors. He is also a member of the Chamber of Commerce of Southern New Jersey and serves on its Environmental Committee. Bob is also active in several other local civic groups, including the Marlton Recreation Council.
A speaker at numerous seminars and workshops, Bob has presented programs on land use, zoning and environmental topics at NJICLE, ALI-ABA, the Camden County Bar Association, the Sharper Lawyer, the National Business Institute, the Atlantic Builders Convention and the Rutgers University Occupational Training Center.
He has received an "AV" peer review rating from Martindale-Hubbell and has been selected for inclusion in the New Jersey Super Lawyers - Rising Stars Edition 2011 and 2012.
Bob is a graduate of Rutgers College, Rutgers University (B.A. 1993) and Seton Hall University School of Law (J.D. 2000). He is an active parishioner of St. Joan of Arc Church in Marlton and a coach for youth sports in Marlton.
